    Boxers in MMA

Do boxers who enter mma simply not train correctly.?
Shouldnt a boxer train to punch when distance closes .
Almost all boxer act like its a 12 round fight and fight to relaxed.
Wouldnt. Fighting with more urgency help.
Wouldt training to punch in different situations
( take down attempts) or(Mma fighter stalking )
Per say.. Instead of wasting time on bjj and wrestling.????

Two completely different sports. Believe it or not MMA fighters have been practicing their "skills" for a long time. All that wrestling and grappling and take downs or whatever.

The James Toney example is overused a bit, not just by Dana White but by the few MMA fanboys that use it as an example to why MMA > Boxing

More threads about "that sport"? Someone show this man to the "mma" forum.

Dude was a Pro Boxer, turned MMA fighter with a 9-0 record and probably soon to be UFC fighter.... If Dana some how has everyone forget his pathetic boxing record.
