Nathan Cleverly looking to break kovalev bit by bit

you know whats truly crazy about Nathan is that he started out as a welterweight. Nathan has had a real tough career up to this point, hes beaten guys that were tough but didnt grab him the attention he deserved a bit like Carl froch in that respect till recently.

He is the only man to beat Tony Bellew and was the first guy to beat Murat and ended a year long winning streak, hes had 26 fights and moving up to that elite level.

Bit by bit, what is kovalev a house of Lego?

On another note, i don't really like Cleverly, but being a Brit i tend to back him (apart from vs Bellew, whom imo he struggled to beat massively).
But considering his age and how many fights he had he's looking good, but i feel he will come unstuck against the 'big dogs'.

Did not know he used to be a welter, intradesting, thus far he deserves bottom-all respect, he's not shook the world, slapped it several thousand times though.

He's good a sums at least.

Interesting that kovalev will do the opposite as in he will be looking to break Cleverly from the opening bell not round by round, bit by bit. I'm looking forward to this one.

Wow I didn't know being protected, then given a free belt, then being protected some more whole defending that belt was "a tough deal"

Since when as weighing 152 been welterweight?

And within ONE YEAR of his debut he was weighing 175.

            He's hardly a Georges Carpentier.

As for the fight, the longer it goes the better chance Cleverly has

I think by 'tough' ts meant having to meet ***-face Warren his whole career on a regular basis (**** stink to high hell) to discuss which pisshole fighter he can slap around next (barring Bellew whom gave Cleverly his first and only real fight).

This "given a free belt" nonsense is pure revisionist history at it's best.

Cleverly was scheduled to face Jurgen Brahmer - the champion - but Brahmer b1tched out of the fight. Now it's used as a stick to beat Cleverly with. Pathetic.

Yeah, but a lot of people on this board expected him to duck Kovalev, so give credit where credit is due hey. Not to mention the fact that a lot of big fights have fell through due to opponents pulling out. I'm willing to give the man the benefit of the doubt.
