The catch weight was a compromise. Khan wanted to campaign at 140 but pretty much everyone was booked up.

Was Diaz weight drained? Well he said he could make 143 but not 140, which he did because there was I believe 10 weeks for training and also he called out Khan before.

Alexander is a champion and Khan was knocked out by Garcia and then looked like **** in his next two fights against totally unranked and ordinary fighters. The only reason he might get a title fight with Alexander is because Schaefer loves Khan. Khan has yet to beat his first welterweight. I doubt Alexander has any fear of Khan but he wants to be treated fairly in making the fight. He is the champ and if Khan wants his title he will have to make the fight worth it for Alexander. Khan does not get to call the shots right now. Khan needs Alexander but Alexander remains the champ whether he fights Khan or not. Alexander has other guys he can defend his title against if he thinks Khan's offers are unsatisfactory
