Mayweather has much better footwork but Pacquiao has better foot speed.
        Mayweather is bigger and stronger.
        Pacquiao punches much, much harder.
        Pacquiao is much more explosive.
        Mayweather has better defense.
        Mayweather has better ring smarts.
        Pacquiao is tougher and fiercer.

Mayweather should be favoured...but Floyd will bring out the best in Manny!
Uh, no. Mayweather is a good deal bigger than Pacquiao.

De La Hoya wanted Pac at that weight and lost weight the proper way and got completley brutalised... then many people start coming up with all sorts of dramatised excused such as ''he had IV marks!!'' That doesn't mean ****, many athletes inject themselves with vitamins stop exaggerating things De La Hoya wasn't drained he was on weight weeks before the fight. It's funny how there is always a ton of excuses for when Pac destroys a fighter Floyd struggled with.

Also Cotto. Cotto previously fought at 140 and fought most of his fights at Welterweight and most Floyd groupies love to pain a picture of a guy that was some kind of walking corpse because he fought at 145 lmao. Cotto in Mayweather's words gave Floyd his toughest fight yet got destroyed by the Pac man.
How you can use examples of common opponents to prove your point, but miss out Marquez?

Forget the 4th fight. Pac had his ass handed to him in the 3rd, regardless of what the judges scored it. I saw Pacquiao drop his head and trudge back to his corner at the final bell and I knew he knew he'd lost.

Plus I gave Marquez the second fight, the first I think Manny edged.

But Floyd v Marquez was like watching a grown man fight a 10 year old boy. It was as convincing a shut out as I have ever seen, and Pacquiao could not come close to that kind of display in 4 fights.

Plus I think Mayweather dominated Mosely far more impressively than pacquiao. Regardless of the one clean punch that Mosely managed to land in that fight, which seems to have been blown out of all proportion and is now referred to as when 'Floyd almost got KO'ed'. The fact he didnt take a knee, drop a glove, hold on for dear life, etc, tells you all you need to know about how often Mayweather actually gets hit cleanly if it's exaggerated to that degree. I thought Pacquiao looked pretty unspectacular against Mosely, and he had definitely lost a step since the Mayweather fight.

So what does that tell you about Pacquiao vs Mayweather? If you are going to use common opponents you need to tell the whole story, you can't have it all your own way.

            Don't forget..

pacquiao is better at getting knocked the **** out
Pacquiao is better at taking naps mid fight.. He will be better rested
Pacquiao is better at letting Juan Marquez own his soul

            Lol.. Pacclowns

Everyone might want to consider than comparing fighters using shared opponents doesnt really work.

You think Terry norris fights the same style as Hagler? He beat Mugabi in 1 rounds to Hagler's 11...does that mean he is better? No

                Styles make fights.

                  De La Hoya wasn't drained???

                  TANGA!!!

Also Zidane has admitted to vitamin injections in the past. It's no big deal.

Marquez lost the fights and got outlanded. Stop crying. That's been his only claim to fame boo hoo, because Pac's style is perfect for him. And Marquez's style is perfect for Pac. But Pac's style coupled with his southpaw stance is big trouble for Floyd.
