stevens-ishida wouldnt be close, at all. stevens is peaking right now. i know it was just saul roman but man those shots would have KOed 95% of the middleweight division.
any1 who brings up the brinkley fight is just flat out ignorant. he showed his power vs ayala and roman, and showed he can box without gassing out vs findley.
IM NOT SAYING HE BEATS GGG, but i think theirs alot of unnecessary hate towards stevens just because hes ****y and ****** lolComment

Stevens sure is
That guy started it. Says he's going to bathe in Golovkin's blood and saying GGG is hiding from him when his own promoter and team thinks he shouldn't fight him.stevens-ishida wouldnt be close, at all. stevens is peaking right now. i know it was just saul roman but man those shots would have KOed 95% of the middleweight division.

That's all he has, the first few rounds, after that his power is gone. If he doesn't get you out then, the fight's up in the air.
He wrecked Brinkley in the first and then got owned when he couldn't get him out.Comment

Oh yea... they sure do want the fight.... silly me
The Golovkin fight is now Stevens’ if he wants it. Golovkin’s promoter, Tom Loeffler, told SI.com on Saturday that he was very interested in matching Golovkin against Stevens in November, when he has an HBO date at Madison Square Garden. The exposure Stevens has gotten this year fighting on NBC Sports Network and his Brooklyn roots makes him a natural fit.
But while Stevens wants the fight, there are strong indications those in his camp want to wait. Main Events CEO Kathy Duva has expressed reluctance about rushing Stevens into a Golovkin fight, believing (probably correctly) that if Stevens keeps clobbering opponents the fight will still be there, and possibly be bigger. Stevens’ uncle/trainer, Andre Rozier, who has trained Stevens since he was five-years old, also prefers to wait. It’s certainly possible that Golovkin’s team, with HBO’s cash, approaches Main Events with an offer too good to pass up. But right now it’s looking more likely that Stevens will be back in November, just on NBC Sports.
