Its crazy to think that Pacquiso just got KO'd cold and Rios just got outboxed by an unknown. I think this fight will be exciting but Im not sure its a PPV with 24/7 type of mega fight. Im wondering how theyre going to promote both tighters recent...losses? When Oscar lost against Floyd, he decided to come back on regular HBO with a countdown, maybe they could have done something like this for Pacs return.

Thats my only problem with this fight. Its not PPV worthy and you throw in a crap card and it really isnt.

Now that Bam Bam is actually facing Manny and Roach, I wonder if HBO will bring up the nasty impression Rios did of Freddie during the run up to the Margarito fight...I'd like to hear if Freddy has some lingering bad blood, and if it motivates Pacquiao at all.

You're right. No one will look at the bigger scale of this because each and every individual favors their specific demographic but this is bigger than just viewers catching the fight in the U.S or U.K... Boxing will be introduced to many more people on a global level because of this fight. When is the last time a fight of this magnitude took place on Asian soil with two fighters who aren't from China? Although I don't agree with Top Rank with this move and would much rather have Bam Bam and Manny face each other in Vegas, I understand what they're doing. This is a chance for boxing to gain more fans worldwide.
