Comments Thread For: Pacquiao-Rios to Have “24/7” and “Face Off” Episodes

The Nov. 23 pay-per-view bout between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios will be preceded by a “24/7” documentary series and a “Face Off” episode placing the fighters at a table for a conversation moderated by HBO’s Max Kellerman, according to network executive Tammy Ross, who made the announcement during a news conference on Tuesday.

Pacquiao has been featured on seven past editions of “24/7” for his bouts with Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, Timothy Bradley and his third and fourth fights with Juan Manuel Marquez.

Is Max Kellerman going to have Manny reenact the Marquez KO with Robert Garcia and Rios?

I would love to see Rios take the low road for this fight. C'mon, yes he's Manny Pacquiao but he did get KO'd last outing by a guy that fought in lower weight classes too. He could really get into his head which shouldnt take much after Pacquiao got both knocked down and KTFO. He has to be full of doubt. Who wouldn't be?

Would def ****e up the promo as villain.

have to run to china? you must be new kid! the fact is that macau does more biz and makesmore money than vegas. Its an untapped market with too much of an upside. Wouldnt you want to make the most money possible? Wouldnt you want, as a boxing fan, to get more exposure for the sport we love? smdh at your ignorant statement.

yes they are both coming off losses, but they are still exciting fighters who love to FIGHT! youre either a golden boy troll, a maywether troll or just a hater in general.

Its crazy to think that Pacquiso just got KO'd cold and Rios just got outboxed by an unknown. I think this fight will be exciting but Im not sure its a PPV with 24/7 type of mega fight. Im wondering how theyre going to promote both tighters recent...losses? When Oscar lost against Floyd, he decided to come back on regular HBO with a countdown, maybe they could have done something like this for Pacs return.
