It seems to me that the steroids greatly benefit both boxers and their fans.

Steroids stimulate muscle growth and recovery from injuries, and therefore help boxers be strong and healthy.

The benefit to the fans is also obvious, as the fans get to watch their favorite fighters, like Roy Jones, Mike Tyson, James Toney, Wladamir Klitscko, and Shane Mosley, in a shape that is superior relative to their opponents. (lol, )

It's unnatural, just as Gatorade is not allowed.

The process of training itself is quite an unnatural process, but that does not mean that boxers should not train.

I don't see the big deal.

Holyfield obviously juiced it hard in the 90's, and we all love him.

Gatorade and Steroids are ingested, as training is not. Hence the "unnatural" part.

                  Thats absolutely ridiculous.

If Steroids were legalized within boxing....it would become the standard for top fighters worse than it is now.

                  First off:

Journeymen and low ranked fighters do not always have the time to train and take regular performance enhancing suppliments. Basically, this would create an even more elitist faction of ******s demanding big purses because of their physical superiority over weaker opposition.

You could essentially throw out the idea of name fighters beating their opponents with skill, using traditional boxing tactics. What you could expect would be quick brutal fights with no regard for safety, and quick paydays.

Something I thought everyone wanted less of.

Food is also ingested, though it seems a natural process.
