I've never seen Freitas fight toe-to-toe with anyone except when he had to. He skates around the ring all herky jerky like until he thinks that he can jump in and surprise somebody. Hatton would hunt him down and make him quit between rounds. -
****ty fight for hatton, i hope he doesnt take itOriginally posted by psychopathI have just read in another website that Freitas is fighting Hatton for his IBF and WBA instead of fighting Zahir Raheem for the WBO belt. The news says it's in the works.
DAMN, if Popo quit against Chico what's his chance against Ricky Hatton?

He probably will. Hatton needs to be introduced here in the U.S. so he might take advantage of this.Originally posted by PBF34****ty fight for hatton, i hope he doesnt take it
But I would rather see Popo fight Raheem first for the WBO belt then if Popo succeeds he can then aim for a unification with Hatton. Popo will then be coming in with a better negotiating chips on the table.

i'm not dis*****g freitas' boxing ability, but just the size factor........Hatton has a big head and big body and is considered a big 140lber...whereas Freitas is a 130lber and an average size one....Originally posted by steelheadif this is true this will be a good fight.man, freitas has a one inch reach advantage.hatton blows up between fights and is not that bigger than freitas.hatton has a big head which is making you think he's bigger.
if this fight isnt held in england with parris reffing ace has a chance.i would think it will be a toe to toe fight.
We are talking natural weights too....Hatton walks around at probably 170lbs whilst I'm sure Freitas isn't anywhere near that....and on fight night Hatton would be well above 150lbs....Freitas could do that too, but it would be new to his body and I can't foresee him being able to step up in such a way!
Freitas is a good boxer though!Comment

freitas IMO isn't trying to make a comeback... a fight with hatton will give him a considerable amount of dough so why not??? hatton will win this fight... everybody cares for the mayweather-hatton fight so this is ok with meOriginally posted by moochii really doubt this fight will happen........there is absolutely no logic in it at all and it would be career suicide for freitas....at the same time, i don't think it would do much for hatton...so where is the logic?
