As a diehard Manny fan I have to agree with Marquez on this one. That was no lucky punch at all. Marquez was throwing that punch all night and fighting Pac 3 times already Marquez had the edge over any of Pacs previous opponents...


Pac gave Marquez 3 rematches and Marquezs whole career is predicated on Pacquiao PERIOD... Marquez should be thankful Pac even existed cause without Pac Marquezs would have a mediocre career fighting C rated fighters like Diaz, Katssidas, and Fedchenko...

You are the one that is still whining and moaning about a fight that ended with the loser sleeping face down like there is a doubt who won the fight. Time to move on I know it hurts.

So Marquez fans have been crying for 4 years for a rematch, then more crying for 3 years, and then one more year of crying for another rematch. Yet Pac fans are crybabys for wanting a rematch for the past 9 months? Tell me more of your great logic, imbecile

He gave him rematches because he knew he didn't deserve the wins he got. He and his trainer even admitted that after fight 3. I respect Marquez for sticking to his guns and moving on. He is leaving on a high note, and it isn't like he is saying Manny isn't on his level, or being disrespectful, but why risk getting robbed, getting knocked out, or legitimately losing a 5th fight when you have fought so hard and been through so much to earn this victory?

He gave him the rematches out of pity, because he had nothing to gain after the second fight. It was the most clear victory for Pac after the first fight should have been his W as well(1 judge screwed up scoring the first round correctly which made it a draw. historical fact) so the third and 4th were just being kind to JMM to get him huge pay days.

Now that he gets a lucky KO win in over 40 rounds of fighting he doesn't want to play anymore, he acts like the oppertunistic coward that he is. I lost all respect for JMM.

A lot of manny's fans here on NSB just can't do that. They need to say its luck or PED's because they actually believe Manny is a great fighter who couldn't be beaten. The Tim loss was bogus but not here. This is the 1st time since Morales that Manny lost definitively.

Funny thing is just like now they made excuses (drawing blood makes me weak) on the Morales loss.

The JMM loss may have showed all the flaws Manny has as a fighter but it doesn't take away from anything manny accomplished in the ring before then nor any award he recived from the boxing writers. It doesn't mean he isn't a 1st ballot HOF'er.

Frankly I have never seen fans deny another rematch of a trilogy that is probably the most exciting one of the past 20 years. The last one being the most back and forth, breath taking fight yet. And the fact that the last winner doesn't want anymore only shows he's as much of a coward as his fans are.
