I'm not interested in Khan vs Mayweather, but I am interested to see if they still make the fight if Khan loses his next one in december (which he almost certainly will if he fights Devon).

Matter of fact I don't know who Khan can fight at 147 in the top 10 and win. He's gonna have to fight some nobody, but then i don't see how they could justify a Mayweather fight if he doesn't fight someone decent his next fight

Sr won't get his wish because if Khan fights Alexander in December he will lose

If Khan doesn't fight and beat Devon Alexander in December, he has no business in the ring against Mayweather. If he avoids Alexander and fights some stiff to secure his chances of fighting Mayweather in May, I won't waste my money purchasing that fight because Khan will have done nothing to earn that shot.

Its the Mayweather Sr. that has always said he doesn't ever want Floyd fighting above 147. He doesn't speak for Jr.

In Khan's defence I will say I've never seen Khan outboxed in the first 6 rounds of a fight - ignoring knockdowns of course. He actually almost Ko'ed Maidana in Round 1, with body punches. Maidana was flat out on the canvas and struggled when he got up. He made Garcia look like a chump until he got himself knocked out. But then that's the problem. I am interested to see how his boxing skills match up to Floyd's at least.

Also I don't like how Khan always blames his trainers when he loses. From what I read - he didn't listen Roach in the Garcia fight who wanted him to hold back. But yet seemed to blame Roach for the loss almost, or at least that was what was implied by his change of trainer.

I've been away from boxing news for the past couple weeks.... did anybody else get overly excited from the 1st sentence in this article? I thought that a date had already been said for this fight lol

Funny thing is, Khan would hang with Mayweather pretty well. He can get his bell rung by big hayemakers, but those are not the punches that are going to be thrown at him by FMJ. Khan can box really well when he can control the ring. But after about 7-8 rounds Khan just throws arm punches

Big Floyd wants Little Floyd to fight Khan because he knows it will be an EASY win for Little Floyd.

You know what style wise this would be a pretty good fight since Khan has amazing hand speed himself, would prob end in a legit ko for floyd though but Khan could catch him clean more than anyone else
