good point, but it was a lot more one sided when pacman caught them. Hatton looked like Hatton against Pac, even if Floyd had already ko'd him pacman would've got the job done. Cotto wasn't weight drained, he just got outworked. (I don't think Floyd asking for catchweight against Alvarez is unfair). But yes....De la hoya was a mismatch.
That's my take on things

Pac is the more punishing fighter, That's just his style, makes for exciting fights. Floyd is more of a technical fighter and fight fans (not Boxing fans) tend to think its boring. Depends on your preference i guess but they are the best two fighters since 2000. I like a KO just like the next man but I'm one of the few who prefers a boxing clinic instead.

I find this all to be one big setup. As soon as the fight is over, Rios will say hje changed his mind and that he was wrong Manny would beat floyd and the announcers at HBO will play this up to make the manny floyd fight seem viable again.

Then ther pac fringe fans will come storming back into NSB post Pac demolition osting about Brandon changed his mind he knows manny will beat floyd blah, blah blah.

Everyone's always talking about Floyd taking easy fights but they're practically begging for him to face what could possibly be his easiest in Pacquiao. I never thought there was anything that Manny brought to the table that would trouble Floyd, nothing. Rios is giving his honest opinion. Just wanted to prove my point a little. You can't stand Pacquiao. Whats the harm in saying it?

I can't stand BHOP and can say it all day. That doesn't make it impossible to deny his master craft in boxing.

That being said, when Pacquiao was cutting down guys ugly that gave Floyd all kinds of trouble, it was obvious that Pacquiao had plenty for Floyd, so don't sit here and act ignorant and say otherwise.

That's the whole reason everyone wanted the fight so badly. Duh.
