Well hindsight is a beautiful thing. I remember the sweet science picked it something like 13-5 in Floyd's favour. And Gatti had looked good in all his fights since ODLH, though against limited opposition mostly, and with Buddy he had added a lot of tools to his arsenal, improved footwork as well. He also picked up a belt along the way.

Bojangles point seems to be Floyd was far superior to Gatti and the performance was great but expected given where floyd was and where gatti was at the time.

Matthysse's KO of MDJ is the same thing for me-yet Bojangles and other Matts fans react the way the same way some floyd fans do about the gatti fight.

What's even more hilarious than this ^ is that his most widely accepted greatest performance ( and probably his greatest win ) was against a just above average, Drained-to-shit Diego Corrales whose whole life was crashing down around him.
