It's 100 percent focus with zero distractions for Saul"Canelo" Salvarez (44-0-1, 30KOs). Team Canelo is on a dedicated pound for pound mission.

After three weeks of hard slog on the roof of California, at Big Bear, Team Canelo is slap **** on schedule for the fight against Floyd Mayweather (44-0, 26KOs) on September 14th in Las Vegas.

“We’re very optimistc! The team is happy with the work done here. Everything’s is going as planned, ” stated Jose Chepo Reynoso, Canelo’s trainer. [Click Here To Read More]

Whenever you hear Canelo or his team talk about this fight you can tell that they are pumped about the opportunity in front of them.

He's going to put everything he's got into beating Floyd Mayweather.

Who is this "Salvarez" guy that Floyd will be fighting? Wasn't he supposed to fight Alvarez?

        ...

Gotta check what you type up in these situations.

I don't know why these fighters go all the way up to big bear to train, I think it hinders more than it helps. Canelo has been training in big bear for years now, yet in almost every fight he's huffing and puffing by the 4th round(like Mosley). It should of dawned on him by now that altitude training is not helping. I think he'd be better off training at a normal sea level.. High altitude training isn't for everyone and I've never seen it benefit boxers.. They think the altitude enhances performance (less oxygen=more red blood cells=higher endurance)and maybe it would If you come down from it the day of the fight but boxers always have to be on hand for fight week 4-5 days before the fight and by the time they step into the ring the benefits of altitude are gone, possibly even reversed because the body is now accustomed to being at sea-level..Alex Ariza explained this a while back.

Either way I think Canelo's training is going well but there no way in the world his training is more intense than Floyd's. It can't be because he'd over train up in that thin air..

So with all that said I expect Canelo to put up a good fight but outside of a lucky punch after a couple rounds go by I think Canelo will realize that Floyd is on another level physically and mentally..
