Yeah its deceptive but seems like by choice. He'll throw slow plodding jabs at times then throw hard fast, crisp ones out of nowhere. He carries his speed through his combinations when he wants to and though not the fastest footed guy he seems to do fine. He's very poised for a young guy and seems to know his limitations and has been working to make them less of a burden it seems (such as his head movement/defense seemed dramatically improved). Canelo's style lends itself well to guys in his weight range and up as his foot speed isnt as big a burden with whats generally seen at 154 and up but Floyd is a different animal. His feet are still fairly quick, has amazing stamina and handspeed and even if Canelo is able to stay infront of him he still has to cope with Floyd's reflexes and upper body movement at close range. Canelo has shown he's thus far been good with judging distance and staying within range but Floyd is a genius in creating his own space and judging it.

In terms of a bad stylistic matchup Floyd is it for Canelo. The other is Martinez who possesses(possessed) very uncommon hand and foot speed for his class in adittion with a great gas tank and power not to mention counter punching/timing and a high work rate. Stylistically I dont see how anyone could beat Floyd in a low work rate fight...

But size could be a difference but who knows. Mayweather has shown to be quite durable.

Hey, you never know though...we might be dead wrong and it could turn out to be a horrible matchup for Floyd who gets bullied by a stronger fighter and get muscled into the ropes and hammered. Floyd is going tk have to clinch a LOT if Canelo chooses to exploit his size so lets see how the ref treats the fight too.

he had good head movement but that only worked against trouts sloppy jabbing which was still pretty effective lol all that swaying and shifting canelo was doing made him tired as hell too

The video, if you were interested in actual real time.

I do agree that his hand speed is underrated. He can throw some vicious combos fast.
