The International Boxing Federation has approved Andrzej Fonfara (23-2, 13 KOs) vs. Gabriel Campillo (22-5-1, 9 KOs) as a final light heavyweight eliminator. The "Polish Prince" crosses gloves with the former WBA champion on the 16th of August at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago. This will be the main event of the evening, and the American fans will watch it via ESPN's Friday Night Fights. The legendary Bernard Hopkins (53-6-2, 32 KOs) is the current IBF champion and defends the belt against mandatory challenger Karo Murat (25-1-1, 15 KOs) on October 19th.

Despite the loss to Kovalev, Campillo deserves another title shot if he beats Fonfara. Most had him beating Murat and Cloud, both of whom are about to get shots. I don't think they are going to enforce the mandatory instantly after the current one, so Hopkins will hopefully be able to face someone else inbetween Murat and this one anyway.

I am going to this fight also should be a good card @ sox stadium. Campillo is going to have a hard time getting a fair shake on the judges cards imo. I am hoping for a Fonfara KO though.
