When broner was at 130, could rigo have beaten him?

In a fantasy fight, where they both enter the ring at the same weight and in good shape, Rigondeaux would win hands down.

In reality, if Rigondeaux doesn't fight at 130, let alone 147, it is for a reason.

Im looking at it from a real point of view. I dont think Rigo will ever be a 130lber. At least not while in his prime. Hes 32 and he's kind of undersized at 122. Plus Broner would be young, kind of raw, with great physical advantages. Now if both fighters measured out evenly I would fancy Rigo over Broner. But I dont think Rigo will ever compete at 130 now or in the future.

Could he have? Sure. Would he? Tough question. Broner was fast and would be so much bigger. He wouldn't have to land much, I don't think, to wear Rigo down. That's really all Broner did at lower weights, he was so much bigger and hit hard enough to wear everyone down. The guys who lasted were the ones he couldn't wear down with power.
