I've got it, I've got it! NBA Raw it was called, yes, I remember now. Channel 4, Sunday mornings around 10:30.
I first got into B-ball though watching NBA highlights on the BBC in '87 and '88, after Nigel Benn knockouts on ITV! I was 14/15 at the time, there would be Nigel Benn on ITV knocking some bum out, then Match of the Day on BBC, then a latenight movie on both channels, then basketball in the early hours hosted by Sally Jones.. this was a Saturday night. Whenever there was this schedule, I wouldn't go round buds' houses or **** - I wanted to watch this in its entirety.Comment

Who would you have preferred?Originally posted by GalindezsSally Jones did not fit the mould to host bad boy B-ball, though.

Eubank is one of my favourite 'celebritys' ever. Great showman and charecter and is always entertaining to watchComment

It's just a pity Eubank and Benn never fought Toney or Jones, i think they could have been interesting fights, i think they would have been underestimated [Eubank and Benn], which would have played into their hands, i think Eubank would have had a legit shot at beating Toney, styles make fights.Comment
