I'll arrive on Friday but have no idea yet what time but I prob won't make the weigh in. The pre fight party is that night and I'm wondering what that is or who all will be there. Don't know where my seats are but I was told they are "great" seats. The whole package is valued at $9k and I have to pay effing taxe on that... So what, about $3k?

Is it for 1 ticket or 2? I know a few days before the Guerrerro fight, front row ticket prices dropped from $12,000 to $6,000

Got tickets by pure luck, also VIP pre fight party tickets also. I've never been to anything remotely like this before. Can anybody give me any idea what this will be like? What's the VIP party exactly? I actually won this but I have to pay taxes on it so it's still going to cost me a pretty decent chunk of money and I wonder if it will be worth it.

Nobody is asking that I pay anything now. I was just told they will file a form with the IRS saying I won this prize worth $9k and it will go under the line "other income" when I file. Also, it wasn't like some random phone call saying I won this. I'm positive I'm not being scammed.

Its for 2. Rt airfare, hotel, fight and VIP party tickets, and $500. At first I thought $9k ridiculous but face value tickets (for 2) $4k + hotel $1500 + airfare $1k + $500 = $7k so maybe that $9k isn't so ridulous if I get picked up and transferred and that VIP party. As for like watching ants scuffle, that's what I'm afraid of but is the type of info i was looking for when i stared this thread. For the $3k in taxes I'm going to pay it doesn't seem worth it. I could go to Vegas for longer then 2 nigts with ******** money to spare for $3k. Might be more fun watching it closed circuit.

lol I usually end up watching the roof screen when it's like that. Considering how expensive the tickets were for this fight, I don't think the Grand will get as loud as it usually does. I think rich people generally don't scream and shout much, but the diehard boxing fans who blow all their savings on that night will be howling at every punch that lands. They will stand straight up and yell every time Canelo appears to land a good shot. That can get annoying, especially when they start punching the air and making suggestions like they're the coach. Really pisses me off.
