Sorry, but I disagree. I have never heard anyone say that they care for that series anymore, everyone I have ever talked to, except for a select few NSB posters, which more likely than not are biased Manny fans, agree that the last fight was a picture-perfect ending, I don't see how any objective fan of the sport could disagree.

It makes zero sense, there are better fights for everyone. And even if none of what I said was true, Marquez already said he isn't interested, and that's a fact.

I find it beyond illogical that anyone would rather see another one. It just makes no sense whatsoever. They gave us 4 great fights, a few of them controversial, and it's over. Let's move on.

If he beats Rios he should retire or ask Uncle Bob to have him fight a no-hoper, for a welterweight strap, before retiring.

There was a poll on espn i think, most anticipated fight of 2013, runaway winner. No surprise, it's just common sense. Guys like you were probably saying the same thing about 4, would have missed out on a special fight. Most people (as in, 99% of the ppv buyers, the votes that count) just wanna see a good fight, great preferably. This is their best bet

He should up the offer to the winner of JMM Bradley, obvious. They were already good offers, but it's worth another try,

Pacquiao has nothing to prove against Bradley

JMM is the best option but he "doesn't want to lose this feeling" aka hes ducking

Alvarado and Prov winner would be be good

But if I had my way I would want him to fight Broner. Thats the closest we will come to seeing Pacquiao-Floyd

Matthysse and Garcia are Golden Boy fighters so he can't fight them anyway. If Marquez beats Bradley and Pacquiao beats Rios I'd like to see Pacquiao have a chance to get even with Marquez for his KO loss. Marquez and Pacquiao are about the same size. They are not full sized welterweights but Marquez would be the WBO welterweight world champion so that would make him a welterweight. I get the impression that you don't think much of Pacquiao. I like Pacquiao. He is exciting to watch and he fights his heart out.He is a clean fighter and he respects other fighters in and out of the ring. Whoever he fights I hope he wins.
on the contrary I think very highly of Pacquaio...he is one of the best of his era, an ambassador to our sport, first ballot hall of famer. I just think if he is gonna fight at welterweight he should fight full fleged welterweights or move down to junior welterweight which IMO he should have stayed after iceing Hatton. Technically he is a welterweight he won the WBOgus belt their against Cotto and has fought over 140 the last few years.

Like Canelo he is has 43 fights and has fought at junior middleweight consistently for years now and has fought a blown up bunch of junior welterweights and welterweights...hell he won his title their against an unranked Hatton who was never a junior middlweight, same as Manny beat unranked Margarito for that bull **** 8th "world title"

Fair point, but there aren't many decent full fledged welters around, especially excluding GBP. Look at all the top welters, even beyond Floyd, Pac, JMM, there's Bradley, Alexander, Guerrero, Ortiz, Maidana, Lopez, all "natural" JWW or lower. All of these are smaller fight night than current JWW Rios, except maybe Ortiz who is 0-2 at 147 proper. Kell Brook is the only "natural welter" contender lol, with Thurman coming up.

Alexander is a natural welterweight considering how long he fought at the top level at 140, and gradually got bigger with age, he filled out. He is a decent sized welterweight. Rios has never a full fledged weltweight so He really wasnt the best choice for the fans, but as a manager his style suits Manny's attributes and advantages.

Most the top welterweights did fight at lower weight classes, but outside Broner,Guerrero and Marquez the rest started at 140 and most guys fill out at 147 as their careers progress...I would have liked him face a ranked Welterweight though, not a fighter who has done nothing significant over 135
