I never said he wasnt. I just get lazy typing PEDerson on my phone. Who's to say he wasnt juiced vs Matthysse? How am I being biased here when you're saying a Khan KO trumps a Peterson KO? Peterson beats Khan but somehow a KO over Khan (who had been KOed before) and was almost KOed vs Diaz is better than a Peterson KO who Ortiz couldn't KO either?

i find it funny that you're jumping all over peterson's drug use until it stops fitting your agenda, . answer this honestly: if peterson were a danny knockout victim would you be talking him up, or putting him down?
I've never stopped bashing Peterson for his PED use so Idk what you're talking about. Had Garcia beaten Peterson instead I'd be saying the same thing, its a good win. Idk why you people think I'm down playing Garcia's win over Khan. My whole point is that a Peterson win is better than a Khan win. In the end it all comes down to a poster's opinion.
Lets say the Khan and Peterson wins are equal in terms. Which win makes Garcia's resume better than Matthysse's?
This thread is 10 pages long and I'm sure at least half of you watched the video. I think TS goal was accomplished. Obviously Canelo isn't the 2nd most skilled fighter in boxing but I think the main focus is the skill set. The kid is young and constantly improving. He's a good counter puncher, has fast hands and throws solid combinations. Canelo has also shown improved defense. I thought the Trout fight was close but Canelo was always in control and never in any trouble. He cruised through a fight with one of the best fighters in the division. I would've liked for him to close the show but that comes with experience and wisdom. At the end of the day, talent shines bright and Canelo has it.

This clown is getting bemused by the facts about his boyfriend reading his posts just makes him seem a little...''less ****y'' about his hero. I presume come the week before the fight he'll tone it down a little when reality sets in.
I did pick Khan to win but I'm not talking the win down either. I'm simply saying that a win over Peterson is a better win than Khan for the simple fact that Peterson holds the W over Khan.

Peterson holds a win over khan in a fight a tough close fight in which he was accused of using PEDs. Seriously what's your argument?
Take away Mayweather's speed and he'd just be another good fighter, people wouldn't say he's p4p #1
He said "skill". Skill doesn't have anything to do with power, it's more of an asset that compliments skill if you have it. He doesn't have that pure skill of a Mayweather.
Take away Mayweather's speed and he'd just be another good fighter, people wouldn't say he's p4p #1
And Mayweather is no where near as fast as he use to be, and he's still the best fighter out there right now so that point is moot. He wins on skill more than anything else. He just has a brain for boxing..

peterson was caught doping before the khan rematch... he was on drugs when he fought khan, and the win should be completely discounted. you'd discount that same win because of the drugs if it were against matthysse, and please don't act like you would not.
the answer to teh question i asked:
i would hype based on the agenda, NE. peterson's drug use would be THE reason why i would give garcia no credit for the win.
peterson was very clearly enhanced in the khan fight. you're one of the guys who calls him PEDerson ceaselessly. he deserves it. the guy had slow release test in his butt. now that he loses to matthysse he's some great win? that makes no sense. it's a double standard.
discount lamont peterson. the best win for matthysse is judah, and the best win for garcia is khan. judah could do absoutely nothing with khan. khan also beat kotelnik (who should have a W over alexander and was a good fighter,) malingaggi, maidana.\
matthysse has a deeper resume than garcia, but his second best [should be] win is alexander. garcia's second best win is judah, matthysse's best win. some people try and say that matthysse beat judah by a huge margin, which isn't true. both guys beat judah in similar fashion, hurting and beating him, but losing some rounds in the process.
the resume are comparable, but the fact that you discount peterson's drug use to fit an agenda remains. peterson is not a better win than amir khan, as his khan win is tainted with a failed drug test for the rematch. and you would be saying the exact opposite if the shoe were on the other foot.
You beat Mayweather as Duran stated forget the head and hit him everywhere. Everytime someone fights him they head hunt which plays into Mayweather hand of making you miss to tire you for the later rounds when he steps it up
And Mayweather is no where near as fast as he use to be, and he's still the best fighter out there right now so that point is moot. He wins on skill more than anything else. He just has a brain for boxing..
Pacquiao is still faster, stronger, more powerful and will still beat Floyd. Floyd is overrated and has looked less than impressive lately.
