We need myth busters on the scene. I'm tired of these people overrating Garcia's power.

You're the biggest penis rider, and phoniest bandwagon fan of them all on this site. It's always some sort of "if" or "had" with clowns like you, Homer.

Nobody respects your **** riding ass, and it's because of posts like this. There are probably 3 Garcia fans here compared to the 1000 bandwagon fans, and Garcia's power is overrated. Foh clown. Wimp.
    Phony and bandwagon?

Lets start with the phony comment. Weren't you the same clown who said Peterson would KO Matthysse? I mean, really? Peterson out of all the people Lucas had fought? But what's phony is how you proceeded to deleting your thread. Not only phony but that showed your so called knowledge in boxing.

Now on to bandwagon. Aren't you the same guy who just jumps on whoever's **** that's going against Matthysse? Yea I thought so... Carry on LOSER.

First off the mods either deleted the thread or lumped it in to another thread like they always do before the fight even started. Second, I detailed why I thought Peterson could win, and hoped Peterson won to shut you clowns up. I was never a Peterson fan. And third, nobody here respects you as a poster. Not one poster.

Your penis riding of Matthysse has gone overboard to the point that you could care less how you respond to real boxing fans who trash you every chance that they get. You're a mentally weak poster, and I'm going to kill you every chance that I get. You better hope and pray that Matthysse wins. Harris should've been given the chance to knock his ass out, but that cheating ass ref saved his rotten mouthed ass.

According to Compubox, Zab is right behind Paulie in the amount of jabs they throw. A guy with Zab's speed/agility/power shouldn't depend so much on it, especially when he's not even using it as a set-up punch. He tried to lull Garcia asleep with it, but he wasn't falling for it so Zab should've switched it up. I'm not saying he shouldn't have been worried of Garcia's counter-punching ability, but Zab did himself a disservice by not throwing the right hook and straight left more often. Zab put himself in the position where he needed a KO to win.

A lot will depend on how they can take and cope with eachother's heavy shots. If Garcia can stand up to Mattysse's heavy blows I can see him winning. That is the big ?????
          I agree with you completely..

Are people still trying to think that by comparing these two fights that it will give them the outcome on Sept. 14th?

What people need to get out of the two fights is how different Zab Judah's endurance was over the twelve rounds. He was much better prepared to go the distance in the Garcia fight.

What a lot of Matthyse fans do fail to realize is that even when Garcia was at a disadvantage in the 10th he was still finding his shots in the subsequent rounds. Judah was also in a prove everyone wrong state of mind so he was invigorated to fight even when he got stunned and countered through out the fight.

He looked better against Danny because Danny was worst.

The second one is how easy it was for Zab to land on Garcia, and how close he came to KO Garcia in round 10.
Comparing this fight to the Matthysse-Judah I think both Garcia and Matthysse won by points (even if Lucas lost to the judges) , but a less experienced Matthysse still managed to dominate more and get hurt less by a younger, closer to his prime Judah.
Given that this was Garcia's last fight and just a few weeks away from the big fight with Matthysse, Garcia looks easy to hit, with heart, but not particualrly skilled or crafty. Its more about him taking punches and landing his own, and bascially relying on his power. On the other hand Matthysse's power is on another level, so is his chin and andurance and stamina for all 12 rounds.
I guess I'm stating the obvious here and these are the reasons why Matthysse is favorite. It should be a good fight though. I think Peterson was a better fighter, but it should still be a competitive and fun fight to watch.
Thoughts? (other than ******ed trolling please)
                      1. Danny was no more hurt in round 10 of the Judah fight than Matthysse was vs Soto and in the first 3 rounds of the Alexander fight.

                      2. Lucas's chin is nowhere near as certified as Danny's or Erik Morales's. He has never been tested apart from taking 2 decent uppercuts from Judah (who isn't even a puncher). Danny's chin has been tested by Khan's combo's (harder than the ones he dropped Maidana and KO'd Judah with) and a roided up Morales. I know he took a lot of unnecessary punishment and lost his balance a few times, but you could see in his eyes he was still "with it" after every hard shot. You can't claim Lucas has a better chin when he's never taken big shots and glass is in his genetics.
