im going to break down what happened.
taylor said he wanted to fight in little rock in april or march and then fight winky in august or september. after sturm denied, winky said he would fight taylor in little rock and the price didnt matter. taylor said fine, and negotiations began. taylor offered winky a 55/45 or actully more like 57/43. winky then went back on his word and said he wanteed more money, which dibella and taylor told him no. THATS why taylor isnt fighting winky next, becuase winky wouldnt take 55/45 for a fight agasint the undisputed champion. it has been taylors plan all along to fight wright in the summer of 06. dibella and taylor have stated this since taylor defeated hopkins the second time. if you want to get pissed at anyone for "ducking" get pissed at winky

taylor has done anything but duck. he actully lost one of the belts for giving bhop a rematch

Soliman's a good fighter, but he doesn't deserve a title shot after a loss, even if it was to Winky. Taylor needs to stop ducking Wright. The Forrest-Quartey fight excites me a lot more than the title fight. That is a very interesting fight. I'd love to see Quartey win a close fight.

I dont think forrest has anything left.I expect quartey to dominate based on both those fighters recent performances.

well its smart by winky at the same time. winky said he would fight taylor in little rock, thinking taylor would deny, but when taylor agreed, winky was kind of like, oh ****, im probably going to get robbed. we will see winky vs jt by the end of the year. if we dont, then ducking allegations from either side would be just

After pushing for an immediate crack at the title holder, Winky and his team dished out a lot of craps. Asking for s 50/50 split when the negotiation had began, it's that simple.

Winky is a solid fighter but irregardless what he has accomplished in the past, he has nothing to bring in the negotiation table except for his number #1 challenger ranking, so it is foolish for him to make demands.

So if your brains are functioning normally it wouldn't be so hard to tell who stalled the negotiations.
