There's a difference between boxing on the backfoot and running. Boxing on the backfoot requires you to throw punches which Haye didn't do. Therefore all he was doing was running.
Walking sideways, using head movement, feinting is running now?

I might be in denial, but you still haven't put up a single clip that proves Haye was running. That's all I'm asking for.

Moving away from your opponent whilst not punching = running.

Tyson Fury's assessment was pretty much spot on. Haye couldn't get a few shots off in the first few rounds and then just tried to basically survive 12 rounds.

I think Haye will land easily because Haye is on a different level to Fury.

Cunningham landing that straight right made me think Tyson had no respect for him, he was wide open until he got put on his ass....but it didn't happen again did it.

Haye will have to make the opportunities but it won't be as easy as you make it & if it goes past 6 rounds Haye probably gets stopped from mauling tactics from Fury.

Haye should get the job done in 5 rounds , similar to chisora fight IMO.

I agree 100% with Fury's assessment. It was embarrassingly spot on.

          But Haye still didn't run.

            Haye wasn't running.

But he wasn't pressing the fight either.

Haye fights an ambush style which is low output & jump in and out tactics with flurries.

Obviously when the fighter is as cautious as wlad you get a stinker unless one of the two takes a risk.

            Both pussied out.

              What do you consider running?

backpedaling and not countering or landing jabs when you do it is running. If you constantly stay out of your opponents reach and don't take advantage of clear opportunities to score on him, and seem content with slipping punches and pivoting around the ring, especially when you aren't almost out on your feet and just trying to survive a portion of a round. That's running.

                    Those were running performances

Haye fought pretty much exactly the same way as he did against Valuev.

Dirrell was actually landing punches on Froch and arguably won the fight - you could not say either for Haye against Wlad.
