Comments Thread For: Dulorme Tabs Danny Garcia To Beat Lucas Matthysse

Boxingscene.com recently caught up with 23-year-old junior welterweight Thomas Dulorme (18-1) of Puerto Rico. The once beaten prospect faces Frankie "Gato" Figueroa on August 17th on HBO Latino. Dulorme said that he plans on putting on proving the critics wrong when he steps in the ring.

"I am going to do my job in the ring like I always do. A lot of people are still talking about the Abregu loss but I am going to do what I did before and that is win, and win convincingly," Dulorme stated.

I also asked Dulorme for his opinion on the September 14th showdown between Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse that takes place on the Floyd Mayweather-Canelo Alvarez pay-per-view undercard. It wasn't surprising that Dulorme picked Garcia to pull off the upset and said that he would like to face both fighters in the future.

I guess fighters can't have close fights ever smh fights that many think he won and had each fighter hurt a couple times had them literally jogging away ... where in one fight Devon would throw soft jab stlouis would go crazy lol I guess mayweather never struggle pacquiao never struggle cotto never struggle or hopkins never had close fights Duran never lost before hitting there prime? Etc people are silly ..the best part is at the time matthysse wasnt even known and everybody know how judges do for A side if those fights happen right now the same exact fight nothing changes you telling me matthysse is not underfeated right now?

Sometimes I wonder if boxers even know WTF they're talking about.

Garcia fights nothing like Devon or Judah and shall we talk about Garcia's "win" over Theopane?

And Garcia's experience? We know who the more experienced fighter is and its not Garcia.

All these people picking Garcia either use traingle theories to support their argument or are praying for the GARSH which won't work anyway.

Who has Garcia fought? Well lets compare their last five fights:

          - Zab Judah (Former WBA, IBF, WBC, WBO Champ) Future Hall of Famer

          - Amir Khan (Former IBF - WBA Champ)

          - Eric Morales (Former WBO - WBC - IBF Champ) Future Hall of Famer

          - Kendall Holt (Former WBO Lightweight Champ)

          - Nate Campbell (Former WBO - WBA - IBF Lightweight Champ)

          Notable Lucas Matthysse wins:

          - Lamont Peterson (Former IBF Champ) Defeated Amir Khan with PEDS

          - Zab Judah - Lost Fight

          - Devon Alexander - Lost Fight

          - Michael Dallas - No name bum

          - Ajose Olusegun - No name bum

          - Humberto Soto - No name bum

Matthysse score one brutal KO against a weak ass Lamont Peterson and all the sudden he's the next baby Mike Tyson..... Please..... Give me a BREAK

"Thomas Dulorme (18-1) of Puerto Rico"

That's all I needed to read...his opinion is invalid.

Garcia goes 12 rounds with Lamont

Nobody has left Humberto Soto sitting on the Canvas looking like they are on deaths door like Lucas did.

You DKSAB gtfo. Lucas is finishing Garcia.

Don't understand the heavy favouritism towards Matthysse. Garcia is bigger, stronger, the champ and probably smarter. I'm pulling for Matthysse in the hope that his path upwards leads to a Pacquiao showdown. Their styles will be like an atomic fusion!

You just pretty much nailed all the Garcia predictions.

Well, and those people who seem to believe he can randomly become Juan Manuel Marquez in this fight.

Dulorme is just butthurt because Abregu, another Argentine, beat the shít out of him.
Grow up man, you lost, thats life.
Its a great time for him to STFU and stick to improving his boxing skills.
