Boxingscene.com recently caught up with 23-year-old junior welterweight Thomas Dulorme (18-1) of Puerto Rico. The once beaten prospect faces Frankie "Gato" Figueroa on August 17th on HBO Latino. Dulorme said that he plans on putting on proving the critics wrong when he steps in the ring.
"I am going to do my job in the ring like I always do. A lot of people are still talking about the Abregu loss but I am going to do what I did before and that is win, and win convincingly," Dulorme stated.
I also asked Dulorme for his opinion on the September 14th showdown between Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse that takes place on the Floyd Mayweather-Canelo Alvarez pay-per-view undercard. It wasn't surprising that Dulorme picked Garcia to pull off the upset and said that he would like to face both fighters in the future.
