On this site, power is everything. If ppl.perceive u to be a power puncher then u are basically unstoppable. I really think ppl assume boxing is that simple, which is sad tbh.

My question to that is, since when does the much superior infighter have to move? Maidana hasn't shown that he has the type of offense to force Broner to move. Again Maidana is not fuckin' with Broner in the pocket.

I'm gonna laugh when it's Maidana on the run, looking to take a breather after having to take too many body shots, I'm expecting to see that around the 5th or 6th round
What do you mean by superior infighter?
Broner lost to de Leon. simple as that. Hobbit Rees gave him hell and he barely survived Paulie because he cant punch his way out of a paper bag. If he trades and gets hit like he did in thosw fights Maidana KO him. Broner is again, just too easy to him and not particularly durable.

Possibly. I definitely think he'll win unless he can't take welterweight power.

Broner is talented but the hype he's getting at this point is not warranted. Rees the hobbit gave him trouble early and if he was the guy his fans thought he was he would have done much better against past it Paulie. I favor him over Maidana but he's not good enough to say its 100%.

That's the kicker. I saw signs in the Mags fight that Broner hasn't brought all of his power to welterweight. If he was as dominant at ww as he was at lw and sfw, then he would have stopped a passed it Mags.

Maidana on the otherhand is a full fledged welterweight powerhouse now. He has proved he has power at ww. Broner, not so much.

He won't fold Maidana over with a body shot. Maidana will be in there for 12 rounds of Hell and I don't think broner can take it. Khan had movement and Devon had output and clinching... Broner's output lessens greatly when he shells up and that's exactly how Maidana will get him.
