Japan’s Tomoki Kameda lifted his first world title on Thursday, when he won a unanimous decision over WBO bantamweight champion Paulus Ambunda of Namibia in the Philippines.

It was the first world title for Kameda, the youngest of three professional boxing brothers. His oldest brother, Koki, is the WBA bantamweight champion, while his brother Daiki is a former WBA flyweight champ.

“Achieving my dream, my father’s dream makes me truly happy,” Tomoki said.

That's Tomoki's nickname, dummy. Because he's spent a lot of time training down in Mexico.

            All that farce

The majority of Japanese faithful fans were disappointed very much at defeat of Namibian.

This judgment was terrible, lacks in fairness and justice. It's a usual scene in the title match of Kameda.

Tomoki repeated only escape and touch in every rounds. Tomoki was going to never make fight. ( Many fans imagined it. )

The majority of Japanese fans were convinced that Namibian defeated a Japanese on narrow margin. ( probably 115-113, or 116-112 )

However, Japanese fans knew it at the same time, The justifiable decision not being given.

Tomoki was afraid of infighting. He made a clinch as soon as he received pressure.

He sat down from oneself repeatedly and escaped from a crisis. It was deja vu - same as the older brother Daiki robbed a Denkaosan's Champion belt -

            Philippine fans booed Tomoki intensely.

This article performs terrible impression operation.

Denkaosan never hitting Daiki's face seriously. Why ?
Many Japanese fans believed this fight was fixed.

I saw it on TBS and Tomoki fought a VERY educated and calculated fight. He countered Ambunda through out, figured out the Namibian had merely plan A and really took advantage. If anyone was was disappointed it was in HOW Tomoki won, which was singed with negativity rather than taking it to Ambunda like he could of.

The boos, well what few I heard, came when Tomoki was being ultra negative and cruised the later rounds.

No way was the fight close and anyone who thought Tomoki lost needs their eyes testing.
