I like Maidana, but Broner beats him easy. Now Lucas on the other hand is a 50/50 fight. As is his fight with Danny Garcia....but of course Lucas fans think he's god.

I didn't say he could not box, I said that he could not box flawlessly which is true. There are unnecessary holes in his defense and there are times where he allows the fighter to have too much control over the pace of a fight. Against someone like Matthysse those faults make me believe that he would surrender control to Matthysse pressure, and that as a nasty punch would find its way through his defense.

As for toughness I go by what I have seen. Two fights that I saw him struggle in Ponce and this other guy ( I forgot his name), he failed to dig deep and elevate his game. I chalked that up to his youth and the possibility that he was not fully committed at the time, then I saw his recent fight with Malignaggi and the same tendencies were present. Felt that he beat Malignaggi but he allowed himself to get outworked and out muscled, when he should have moved up a gear and beat Malignaggi out of the game.

I chalk the bold up to his youth and idiocy. I honestly don't think he took Paulie seriously, therefore, he didn't prepare. He came in and thought he was gonna walk through Paulie, once he found that he couldn't he was fighting off instinct. Had he prepared for a championship caliber opponent, I think he would've dominated. He just doesn't take the sport seriously. Once he does, he'll be hard to stop.

Did Danny Garcia sign to fight Mathysse over night?A lot of you people were running off at the mouth saying that Danny Garcia was gonna duck Mathysse.And then after Garcia signs to fight Mathysse,a lot of you people go into damage control by saying,"Garcia was forced into fighting Mathysse".And after Broner signs to fight Maidana,watch you people go into damage control by saying Broner was forced to fight Maidana.And after Broner beats Maidana,you people will say "Maidana was a bum" in order to not give credit to Broner.Then you people will say Broner is gonna duck Mathysse.

And no contract for a Guerrero fight was sent to Broner.

Look man, that's just how it is when it comes to Broner.. If he wants to keep up this " I'm on the elite, ATG, GOAT level" talk he needs to start facing real competition and beat them completely down to shut up a lot of people. Another fight like Paulie, regardless if the dude is running the whole fight or not, Broner should just chill out then. He's on that Canelo before Trout /Chavez Jr before Sergio path right now.

Garcia is a great counter puncher with excellent timing everytime Matthysse throws a wide punch Garcia will counter him that's why I'm picking him to win by decision

That's a weak and nonsensical excuse. That was the most important fight of Broner's career to date. He didn't go easy. He did what he could. Paulie's still a decent boxer, but he has absolutely pathetic punching power and Broner looked like ass. He is not what you think he is. I think Matthyse takes him out and won't be surprised to see Maidana grind him down either.

I think it's a 50-50 fight. I dont see a clear advantage for either.

Interesting for him to say. those are the two most dangerous fights for him with his ability to get hit and his willingness (****iness) to trade punches. If he were to sign and win both fights, he'd be gassed up enough to call out Floyd.

Of course they do, Alvarado did it pretty well against Rios. But Matthysse (and GGG) is too good cutting the ring. I give Danny a punching chance but Broner, from what i saw last fight, doesn't have the power to beat Lucas.

No one has seen how Broner's power is at 140.

I wouldn't say Danny's a paper Champ. He beat a legit Amir Khan for that WBA Strap. Lucas hasn't beaten anybody for any world championship. We'll see if he can change that Sept.14. He's got a chance but it won't be easy. I think people's dislike for Garcia clouds their judgement that he is a decent fighter, as is Lucas.
