Comments Thread For: Dana White: Velasquez Would Smash That Fool Tyson Fury!

UFC President Dana White has reacted to Tyson Fury's recent rant about challenging UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez next. Fury is scheduled to take on former two-division champion David Haye on September 28th in Manchester. Should he defeat Haye, who is listed as a heavy favorite, Fury promised to challenge Velasquez live on television.

“After I beat Haye I want to fight Cain Velasquez,” said Fury to the Manchester Evening News. “100 percent. Not Klitschko straight away because he’s going to faff around. He’s not going to fight. I want someone who will fight. Velasquez will fight. I’m going to call him out after I beat David Haye. It’s going to be on HBO live in America so the whole of the country is going to hear it. I want to fight him in a cage. It’s no joke, I will fight Velasquez after I beat Haye. If [UFC President] Dana White can put up the money, it’ll happen. He’s already put an offer forward of £1.5m." I'm sure he would in MMA.

I guarantee you though that Fury is more well known in his country or world wide then Velasquez is in the US and worldwide. That was a ****** comment.

I got 150,000 that Haye KO's Fury, any takers? I also agree with Dana White Boxers have no place in MMA. Cain would ruin Tyson, I'm saying this as not a fan of MMA. I respect the sport just not a fan.

Either way Tyson is talking out of his ass on this one.

Why would Fury even waste his time talking about Cain? Once Cain takes him to the ground its over

And fury would make much more than 1.5 million against either Klit

Cain beats Fury easy, hopefully this match happens that way Brown Pride whoops that big dumbo, no way he gets back up hes too big after Cain getting an easy takedown, he would be easier than Bigfoot getting takedown in the first match

            something worst than this lol

Fury has a 10% chance of KOing Cain, he was KOed by Dos Santos remember? Fury has longer reach, has a 9" advantage in height, and a boxer.

In boxing, Cain has zero chance to beat Fury.

Anyone else see Fury say that Haye-Fury will be on HBO in the US? That's all I took from it.
