UFC President Dana White has reacted to Tyson Fury's recent rant about challenging UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez next. Fury is scheduled to take on former two-division champion David Haye on September 28th in Manchester. Should he defeat Haye, who is listed as a heavy favorite, Fury promised to challenge Velasquez live on television.
“After I beat Haye I want to fight Cain Velasquez,” said Fury to the Manchester Evening News. “100 percent. Not Klitschko straight away because he’s going to faff around. He’s not going to fight. I want someone who will fight. Velasquez will fight. I’m going to call him out after I beat David Haye. It’s going to be on HBO live in America so the whole of the country is going to hear it. I want to fight him in a cage. It’s no joke, I will fight Velasquez after I beat Haye. If [UFC President] Dana White can put up the money, it’ll happen. He’s already put an offer forward of £1.5m."
