They're both correct. General advice should be tread with care...but Rios advice is for Rios. Rios could out**** Matthysse.

He's fcuked.
Only way to beat Mathysse is to box like Floyd did against Corrales or fight like Holyfield did against Tyson, which is bully the bully.
Garcia can do neither

much closer fight than people think, but i still give the edge to Lucas, Combination of a his good chin and KO power makes it hard to bet against him.

Outboxing Matthysse would be the best approach to take as it was accomplished by someone on the level of a past prime Judah ( in other words someone who is not special). Standing toe to toe with Matthysse would a require a more exceptional counterpart to the boxer.

I feel that Garcia has to use his reach and keep Matthysse at a distance while trying to box. In other words, he's gonna have to show a dimension to his game we haven't seen and is probably not there.

I just think Garcia's knockout/power is a bit overrated being that Khan was KO'd in the amateurs with headgear, by Prescott and "THEN" by Garcia.
In fact, Prescott's KO was far more impressive if we're talking "power" than Garcia's.
I'll just be happy when this fight is over so we can put all these question's to rest.
