Comments Thread For: Mundine Vows: If Shane Mosley Beats Me, I Will Retire!

Former champion Anthony Mundine has promised to retire if he loses to three division king "Sugar" Shane Mosley in October. According to News Ltd., Mosley has been offered $1.5 million dollars to fight Mundine in Australia. Mosley, 41, recently returned from a brief one-year retirement. Mundine, 38-years-old and a twelve year veteran, can't afford another loss. He says one more defeat will end his career for good.

Do you really think he'll actually go through with it and retire if he loses? Pretty sure we've heard the same tripe from the mouth of the guy he's fighting.

They came up with 1.5 million for Shane alone? Seriously?

Shane can probably beat the dude, it would be a 50-50 fight.

              Mosley should take it.

Shane mosley can & will retire this rube!!!

Mosley is ALWAYS in great shape, has fought the best of the best, multiple times, win, lose, or draw, IN THEIR PRIMES. Mosley has forgotten more about Boxing than this stiff has ever known. Mosley still has great power, a superb jab, and great hand speed still. Shane dominated the kid in Cancun, time to go down under and put that Aussie to sleep. Roy Jones struggled in Australia, but Shane Mosley won't!

I'll be watching this lol, although alot dislike Anthony Mundine the guy is quite funny a master troll.
I wouldn't like to say who will win since Mosley is now 41.

they should stipulate in the contract that the loser is forced to retire forever
