Briggs vs Koval, Chapman Set For Feb!!

WBC #8, WBO #10 and IBF #13 heavyweight contender, Shannon “Brooklyn” Briggs’, 45-4-1 (39 KOs), fight for the NABA and USBA Heavyweight Championships against Chris “Special K” Koval, 23-2 (18 KOs), is being moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 25. Originally slated for January 27, an ankle injury suffered last week by Briggs forced the rescheduling. Additionally, if all goes according to plan, also appearing that night will be power punching heavyweight prospect JD “The Natural” Chapman, 19-0 (17 KOs), who will face fellow Arkansas native Tommy "Concrete" Connelly, 15-7 (11 KOs), in a twelve-round showdown. Chapman must first win his February 4 fight at the Pope County Fairgrounds in Russellville, Arkansas against Marvin Hill for the NABC and Arkansas State Heavyweight Titles. Promoter CKrush Sports and manager Scott Hirsch are currently finalizing the details.

JD Chapman really needs to fight Justin Blevins if he wants to put that in state rivalry to rest.

blevins resume is putrid (16 opponents with 27 wins between them ahhahahhhahah), chapman has been fighting the better comp and hes 7 years younger. if chapman is serious about taking it to the next level he shouldnt be going out of his way to fight this guy, in state rival or not.
