Selcuk Aydin (25-2, 18KOs) will challenge Ignacio Mendoza (38-7-2, 23KOs) for the vacant IBF Inter-Continental junior welterweight title on September 18th at a site to be determined in Germany. Both fighters saw action on the same card last Saturday in Cuxhaven. Mendoza captured his IBF belt with a twelve round unanimous decision over Ramon del Cruz Sena. Aydin knocked out Aaron Herrera in the eight.

Aydin by either a late stoppage or a close decision for me. Mendoza got decked twice by Cruz and was like a giraffe on ice when he got floored the first time.
