Worst Referreeing Job?

Roger Tilleman was responsible for probably the worst and most biased refereeing performance I've ever seen. When Robin Reid fought Sven Ottke, he was giving Reid warnings just for landing punches, and whenever Ottke got in trouble he made up some reason to stop the fight and warn Reid.
He penalised Reid for infringements he made, whilst only giving Ottke warnings for the same things (which were even more blatant). And when Ottke was knocked down legitimately (it was an obvious knockdown), he just ruled it a slip and basically forced the judges to score what should have been a 10-8 rd for Reid as a 10-8 round for Ottke due to a point deduction (or at best 9-9).
Basically the referee decided who he wanted to win the fight and did whatever was necessary to make it happen. That guy should never be allowed any involvement in boxing again.

I don't think the ref did a great job or even close to a good job but to be fair if Ruiz should be penalized for holding so should Raheem.
I agree with this. I remember all that and how so many posted how wrong it was for the ref. to take the pt..however, if he was told repeatedly (and he was) to stop doing it, then common sense should have told him that he needed to quit. I mean, the ref. made it clear that that was the only problem he had with him..the only complaint, so that is all he had to do. Stop grabbing him behind the head..pretty simple.
Anyway, i still consider Richard Steele the worse ref out there..what he did wrong (Taylor vs. Chavez..enought said) was bad enough that so far nothing I've seen in the ring since comes close..even after all this time!

Agree entirely with this one. It's one thing hearing about the hometown decisions Ottke was getting but seeing them was unreal. No wonder he was avoiding Calzaghe and never fighting outside Germany.

thats bull****. you have to wave it off if they can't respond. otherwise, what is the point of going for a KO in the last 15 seconds of a fight?
