Oh you don't need to explain.... I understand, indeed I do.... I believed -mistakenly obviously -that your super-quick, professionally crafted praise of David's article, was a reaction to my comment referencing Ham-Bone and "friend", and in which I casually mentioned I might post something critical of the article. (Today, not only could I not read "Fighting Words" but for the first time, I couldn't even begin The 10 count, which was nearly as long as the article and, for me, as tiresome -I think my concentration is waning with age.....).
I had been nastily denigrated by Ham-Bone and "buddy" the other day in which they discussed my criticisms of David with one another. It surprised me...... In fact I like David, I just can't stand his too-heavily alliterative, ponderous, wandering, bloviating article-style. He's a far better reporter. Just my opinion.
But, being human, I couldn't resist pointing out that just a short while before, I had seen a post from you, full of the kind of obscenities with which the large majority of your posters relieve their ...what could I suggest...feelings??
I could never write in two such opposing styles. I suppose it's a gift... May I be allowed to congratulate you Sir..
