Is it a double standard or is it maybe legit because Raheem is consisdered to be better then Bladomire? Although how much better is he really? Bladomire hasnt loss in a long time.

Also couldnt you give Floyd more credit because atleast Zab's loss looks like a fluke and he just didnt show up. Morales loss to Raheem was real and he just looked like he wasnt good enough to beat him or atleast not good enough anymore.

Also couldnt you give Floyd more credit for the fact that if he wins, that would be there only fight but Morales had already beaten Pac, so you could say that the only reason why Pac won is because Morales isnt the same guy and thats why he lost to Raheem because if he was the same guy then he wouldve beaten them both?

I dont know. Pac's win is super impressive and he does deserve the complete respect but I just have a feeling that Floyd wont get that same respect if he wins. I mean just like at Raheem talkin got Brian Kenney on FNF. Kenney was saying how no one wants to see Zab and Floyd after Zab just lost his last fight, but then Raheem said "how can you say that but then you got alot of people still wanting to see Pac and Morales and its basically the same situation because Morales just lost to me"?

I just dont see all these fans bragging on Floyd if he wins and I definatly dont see it being all these media stories like it is with Pac. There will be alot of hating if Mayweather wins
as far as i'm concerned, i respect pbf as much as pac right now... but if pbf starts mixing it up with real tough competition and win, he'll be way ahead of pac... what endears me to make them at the same level of respect right now is that pac fights everyone in his way, and wins convincingly... on the other hand, i respect pbf because undoubtedly he's the most skilled boxer in this generation... but fluke wins does hurt his status

What? Floyd has wins over the great Genaro Hernandez for a title when he was still very young, Carlos Hernandez, a prime Angle Manfredy, Jesus Chaves, Sharmbe Mitchell, Castillo Twice, Chico, Aturo Gatti, Chop Chop, N'Dou, Sosa, Goya Vergas, Jukko, Augusts, and now Judah coming up.

This guys resume is only matched by a few and Pac isnt one of them. Pac may have had some big fights lately but he lost one, had a draw in another and lost some when he was younger.

Floyds resume is better, I think you would agree?

im talking about NOW... not BEFORE... yes, record wise, pbf is a lot better than pac... but if you look at pbf's latest fights, everybody hated him for taking fighters not in his level...

and the title of your thread says pac is more respected than pbf... go figure

it is perhaps unfair, but mayweather does have a higher standard placed upon him than pacman. from mayweather's debut, he was expected to achieve due to his background.

pacman showed up almost out of nowhere and upset the apple cart by destroying barrera, the best featherweight at the time, then almost beating jmm if one judge knew how to score. then he lost to morales and was the underdog in the rematch. literal victories or not, pacman has three moral victories over the top three featherweight-superfeatherweight fighters.

i still regard mayweather higher than pacman. mayweather will not get the respect for beating judah because mayweather has always been the favorite and judah lost to a no name fighter. morales lost to a much better opponent than judah did. this has an impact too i believe. even if judah had won in the first round, if mayweather beats him mayweather probably would not get a lot of credit.

I wasnt speaking in general though. I was speaking just of Pacs last fight and Floyd's next fight but I guess it could go hand and hand with the overall look

props! pbf will always be on top of the heap. pac had to punish his way to earn it which i think we should give more credit with.

as Lostguy here pointed out, even if mayweather wins over judah, he won't get as much hype as pac's in over morales... nobody gave pac a chance to beat erik, and erik being true legend for boxing... judah isn't in that level yet...

let's just put it this way... who do you repspect more? judah or erik??? your answer will be the answer to this thread D
