    Jesus Soto Karass appreciation thread

Jesus Soto Karass is the epitome of a ring warrior.

It's amazing after all the difficult wars he's had (sometimes against bigger, stronger fighters like Gabriel Rosado) how Soto Karass is able to come back and put on fine performances like his fight with Aydin and, still better, his win last night over Andre Berto.

I remember meeting some of his family members who were sitting behind me at ringside during his fight with Selcuk Aydin. I was cheering along with them during that fight.

Props to the courageous ring warrior Jesus Soto Karass. Viva Mexico!

I've always enjoyed watching him fight, and I'm glad he got the win last night. A relevant Soto-Karass makes for some interesting fights at welterweight.

The second he landed that overhand in the 1st round, I knew he was winning by KO/TKO. Just a matter of time.

Appreciation confirmed. With enough heart and a little bit of skill (and more chin than Khan, lol), one can achieve great things!!

It's funny how many people thought Berto was going to wipe the floor with him. And yes, I can happily bask in the glory of hindsight because I wasn't one of those that overestimated Berto to such an extent that I believed he would dominate an opponent who, on paper, was around about the same level.

He should fight Josecito Lopez....both lost against Maidana, and they are both come forward type of fighters... it would be a war since Rd 1

Karass was just a terrible matchup for Berto. I knew Berto would get KO'd before the fight even started.

That said, I really don't see Soto beating anyone worthy at WW. Possibly Malignaggi, but that's close.

Alexander would stomp a mud hole in his ass.

                    I haven't really watched Brook
