I have probably watched more boxing this month than you have watched in your life and I haven't even been watching a lot for me~

There is nothing wrong with Floyd being in the top PFP in the 80's as a junior welter since welter would have been too dangerous. Maybe he can beat a whirlwind Aaron Pryor, maybe not.
But no one really thinks that and it wasn't that close also whether you win by an inch or a mile winning is winning~
Why would it be shocking to say Floyd could lose to those great fighters it is certainly a possibility and they are great fighters so not like there is any shame in that. The key word in that statement is could though so while he could lose to those guys he could also win and you keep saying he CAN'T.

Nice try and pretending to actually have seen Floyd fight more than once. Man, you really made yourself look ****** with that comment. Floyd get past Hearn's jab and right hand??? Dream on. He wouldn't even try, let alone succeed. Floyd has never fought an inside fight in the middle of the ring...Get it? Got it? GOOD! Next time at least attempt to watch a number of Floyd's fights before commenting on his style. It doesn't get any more pathetic than that.
BTW Floyd's forte is that he can do a lot of things well and fight from different places thus generally always fights in a place that benefits him and puts his opponents at a disadvantage. Against Hearns that is inside so I don't see what is so hard about seeing that, if he can get the job done or not is an open question.Last edited by The Gambler1981; 08-02-2013, 12:04 PM.

He is not a middle of the ring inside fighter so explain how he would win.
I have illustrated how Floyd wins in my first response to you and told you how easy it was to give simple one line over simplified reasons why someone wins.
How Floyd gets past Hearns jab, simple make him reach and miss then his long arms become a liability as Floyd moves inside to his better range and inside Hearns best range. Now this is all easier said than done but Floyd is a great defensive fighter so I wouldn't consider it out of the question because if he can make Hearns miss and make him pay Hearns will likely get frustrated thus making him make more mistakes. On top of that Hearns was a physical freak but he was not a great tactician so him getting out maneuvered so his physical advantages are not as great if he is not in position to utilize them to the fullest (another one of Floyd's fortes btw).

Dont think for one second Floyd could get past Hearns jab and fight an inside game he does NOT fight. Corrales was a 130 pound fighter, not a 147 pound coiled powerhouse like Hearns. No comparison.
