    Duran is punch dunk

Robero duran is clearly suffering from all the damage he took in the ring lol boxers of today are better in many aspects then they were 30 yrs ago for starters human beings in general have evovled to b bigger faster smarte and stronger if you take that into consideration with the difference in training methods and how training in each sport has advanced then the picture is perfectly clear that that boxers or athletes of today are far more superior to those of yester year I don't think that roberto duran understands this and is still stuck in his heyday

Lets be all the way real here. Floyd in that era would have had harder fights and probably lost to a couple of them guys but technically he is just an all around great fighter/boxer and for someone to call him ordinary is far fetched considering how talented he is. Fight would have been harder but Floyd's work ethic, defense, stamina, ring generalship and counters with him being able to adjust mid fight would make him a problem in any era.

The only way I see Floyd taking the L is if he fought toe to toe with any of them guys. If he boxed smart and had his pops in the corner then no way would he be dominated like how people on here say. I think them fighters would have made Mayweather dig deeper to win. Floyd is the best technical fighter.

He says Mayweather would have been "just another guy in the bunch."

Duran is not impressed with Mayweather's level of competition, stating that there is no comparison between the top contenders of today and the fighters who ruled from junior welterweight to middleweight 30 years ago. Duran said Mayweather should have a loss on his record from the first fight with Jose Luis Castillo and he scored the fight with Oscar De La Hoya as a draw. [Click Here To Read More]
Duran is a God....but I disagree...I think Floyd is skilled enough to rock out in ANY era imo

You dream like a kid , many guys that beat them monsters were ordinary contenders !

Floyd could beat everybody on the resume of prime 135 Duran .
