I would definitely give him credit for beating Khan, because the chances of him beating Khan are slim. In fact, I hope he does avoid Khan because Khan needs a hard fight to prove himself, Alexander will be easy for Khan and he wouldn't get any credit for it.

Alexander is a pretender and got his title by beating a a shot relic in Bailey and defending it against the world renowned Lee Purdy lol. Alexander hasn't earned that IBF strap yet.

He is a contender, who brings nothing to the table, except from that belt. If he didn't have the strap nobody would want to fight Alexander because he is a boring spoiler and can only sell out in his hometown where tickets sell for £5 haha.
