    I would rather see khan-alexander...

soto-karass needs one more quality win to be considered for a title shot...

I know amir hasnt done much at welter, but his career achievements are way better than soto-karass

Khan hasn't done anything to deserve a title shot at welterweight.
Alexander doesn't have to worry about that if he has confidence in himself. He has 12 rounds to prove he isn't a stepping stone.

Sure Khan has a decent entire career. But lets look at what each did after their last defeat. Karass greater than Khan, period.

The last time i checked Devon is the IBF Champ. He has plenty of options like, Ortiz,Thurman,Mosley,Guerrero,Karass,Judah and Maidana rematch. Who needs Amir "Con" Job.

Karass might be on a roll, but he's still a limited fighter with a lot of defeats. He's made for Alexander.
You cannot fault Keving Cunning Ham for this. If you were a trainer/manager you would look out for the best interest of your fighters. Boxing is about match ups. This is why Soto Karass has a poor boxing record. His people didn't give a damn about him and he was matched poorly early on in his career. Yes you're right Soto is made for Alexander and if I'm in Alexanders' corner this is the fight I am pushing for.

I would not say he won that fight easily. Winning easy is what Floyd did to Guererro. When you take into account that Berto injured his shoulder in the 3rd round, I would have expected a total shut out from that point on but Berto was still able to win some rounds after the injury despite being a 1 handed fighter.

All things considered, it was a much closer fight than it should have been. IMO 8-4, 7-5 rounds depending on what you like.

Why would Devon duck a fighter that has been KO'd and destroyed twice? Maidana had Khan out on his feet and a unbias ref would have stopped that fight. Peterson put a beating on him and Diaz came out of retirement and almost KO'd this clown.

I think Alexander saw something in Soto-Karass during last nights fight that he can exploit and now wants to fight him. Personally I still want him to fight Khan.

                    • Devon might be alot of things but one thing he is not, is a ducker. The guy has fought everybody and I fully expect him to face the more difficult challenge in fighting Khan.
