look at how briggs almost put lennox down in 1st round of their fight (ropes helped lennox there). It was more due to Lennox loosing the balance not being badly hurt.

Brewster fight reminds me on second price-tt fight. It was something very strange about Wlad in that fight. He wasn't going down due to some heavy punches, or at least not the punches he couldn't take, but he was totally exhausted. He actually gone down by just walking to the corner - without any punches.

So I don't really look those just as formal KDs but how they happened. Also lets not forget that Wlad took Ibragimov, Chagaev, Haye, Wach, TT clean punches without going down or being badly hurt. All of those are heavy punchers.

Now as for Fury, unfortunately there is no too many fights to say, but how Pajkic put him down with a single punch and how small CW put him down make me think that he doesn't have a specially good chin. In my mind, there is no way he would survive the punch that Wlad took from Haye.

It's bit of too obvious, but there is no department in which Fury matches Wlad apart in his physical size.

I am not saying that Wach is good, but he would definitely ask some questions. Unbelievable chin he has and decent power might be all what you need against Tyson - I still don't know.

I have no doubt that 2008 TT beats present Fury - no doubt at all. Today's versions more competitive but I would still favor TT. I really think people are underestimating big, skillful, powerful southpaw and maybe are slightly overestimating Fury.

Maybe Tyson will prove me wrong and go beat Haye... but atm this is my honest opinion.
If you look at Tyson's two knockdowns, he was caught when having his hands down more or less. He was caught flush straight on the chin. And he got up quickly on both occasions and didn't seem to be hurt.

I'm not saying Wlad has a weak chin, because I don't think he has. I don't think he has a Vitali/McCall esque chin, but he has taken some good punches in his day. So I'll give him that.

But anyone who get's hit flush in the face by a heavyweight could go down. Even the shot Haye hit Wlad with in the 3rd rounds of their fight wasn't flush because Wlad knows how to move out quickly.

And I agree that the Brewster KD especially looked like it was due to being exhausted. Which can happen to any fighter. But look at the Sam Peter KDs for example.. even though two of them weren't "real" KDs as per se, he still hit the deck.

I agree with 2008 version of Thompson probably, but not the current version. He's not as fit as he used to be, and you need to be fit to fight Fury because he's so damn big.

Flash KDs are actually better merit of a chin than those that happen because of lost balance or low stamina IMO.

I don't have enough proof that Fury has a bad chin, but being put by cunningham, pajkic and being hurt by chisorra - none of those is a puncher is some indication of it. Fury has a big heart and that's why he recovered and won those fights apart from he was a better/bigger guy there.

And I agree everybody can go down - no doubt about that.

I don't even like Haye, but if Vitali or Wlad were fighting Fury, you'd hype it. I still think Fury isn't very good, he's good for today's heavyweight standards, but that's it.

If Fury worked the body, he'd probably stop Wach.
