Honestly, with the Angulo fight, he gave him perfect interactions that were working until the freakish punch that made Angulo quit.

in this fight tonight, Berto’s shoulder got damaged again, and even still he gave Berto proper instructions, but Berto’s way to flatfooted and off balance to follow his instruction, which was to stay close to smother Soto’s power and to jab and move his head, when he was doing, it was working.

Can’t defend him in the Khan fight though.

His instructions are pathetic. Almost embarrassing at times.

He is asked to be a MIRACLE WORK for some fighters who never was really that good to begin with, he has Ward from Day One and you see the Results and what he is able to do

No Trainer can help Angulo or Berto, they are what they are! You inherit your boxing skills BEFORE YOU TURN PRO not during

He's obviously a great trainer but he can only do so much. Seems like many people feel like if the boxer doesn't win then the trainer sucks.

No. Andre was from day one who he is, or ever will be. My point of the thread was that Virgil is just money grabbing.

hes not a miracle worker lol, he gets hard headed fighters- khan wants to be mike tyson but has the chin of a 10 yr old, berto wants to be floyd mayweather but is too limited. i read a thing from bertos old trainer when they split he said to berto "when you did what i told you to do did u ever fail" something like that and berto said no. just dumb

these guys come to him he doesnt call them
