Nope Maidana beats Berto, as much as I don't rate Maidana but at this point he beats Berto.

I love watching maidana fight, he is a brawler, he is crude, BUT he also has subbelties to his game, that sneaky right is deadly, and he fights like a warrior

His loss to khan bother me more than his loss to Alexander, with the hype surrounding him going into the Khan fight I thought he would destroy Khan as soon as he lands but he was just plodding around like a mummy till the 10th round and even when he did land in that around Khan was able to stand on his feet and ride it out.

Khan boxed a near enough perfect fight for most of that. Not hard to see how his reach and speed won him most rounds.

hooking up with robert garcia and a strength and conditioning coach did a lot of wonders for maidana, who seems to be a quick learner. he comes with a gameplan now, varies his offense and is more technical with his punches.

back then it seemed like he didn't prepare very well, basically fought with all heart and brute power alone. i think he had some towel boy giving him instructions in the alexander fight for **** sakes.

i'd like to see a rematch.

He does not destroy Broner Bradley or Guerrero, I would favor all of them over him. Not sure how you can even say that as they are the better of the 6 fighters you listed in the WW division lol (not counting Berto)
Based on waht would Broner beat Maidana? The fact that he couldnt win with authority over big hearted but pillow fisted Malignaggi? Or the fact that his defense is so bad you cant throw a dead cat without hitting him? I give Broner a 25% chance of winning against Miadana, and I'm feeling generous this morning. For crying out loud, Broner had to jump the entire 140 and 147 division looking for an easy enough fight, and still he got his ass kicked most of the fight by a past prime Paulie. Paulie's an ok Boxerbut he's more of a comentator these days than aboxere, still Broner hardly got a SD.
Thurman, or Chaves for that matter, would rip little Broners head off, let alone Maidana.

Broner- I've been over this, too stationary for Maidana. And fatally overrated.
Bradley- went life and death with Prov who is cut from some of the same cloth as Maidana.. Though chino is better imo. I think chino stops bradley if bradley comes to fight.
Ghost.. There to be hit. Less pop. Any questions?

Good post. People keep turning a blind eye to Maidana's improvements and I have no idea why. Maybe they don't know what to look for.

Broner is a poor mans Berto with no power.

                    Maidana steamrolls that bum.

Kahn viewed maidana as blod thirsty bredis prescot on roids x10, and fought accordingly where he avoided brawling, and fought maidana from a distance.

After that fight something happent to kahn, and he started fighting very ****y and forgetiing his defence, if he fought Maidana like he did fought Garcia he would have been knocked out in the first round, no bs

Kinda iike Roy jones was soo in love with his elusivness and speed that in the end it became his doom
