his problem is his opponents can't miss landing punches on him...it doesn't matter if you're speed deprived like soto karass.

still can't get why Ortiz and especially guerrero got so much credit for beating berto that they got elevated to a level where they were put to fight a guy like Floyd

Worst of all Berto fell for it too and look where its taken him. If someone was straight w him and told him the truth that he aint no Ray leonard second coming and he needs to fight smarter he wouldnt be such a clusterfk right now.

his problem is his legs, he has no footspeed whatsoever. great handspeed but he's top heavy. Truth is that his flaws are great for the fans but bad for him, the last 3 fights he lost were all awesome fights and you have to give the guy credit for his heart....

Scorecards were awful as usual, going into Round 12 it was 105-103 Berto, 104-104, and 105-103 Soto-Karass. Something needs to be changed in Texas.

The guy pretends to be slick, but his opponents dont buy it.

Berto needs to somehow commit more to bobbing and weaving - Floyd makes defense LOOK easy but that takes work - and Berto ain't puttin in the work to get his defense correct. It might be too late now though.

He's too damn tense - start doing some yoga

As for the Gap....he definitely has less power than he thinks he has. He could tag anyone in the game with one shot - his problem is he needs a follow up with at least two more when he's fighting the Ortiz's and Guerrero's.
