Don't even like Berto, but 3 wars in a row should earn some respect.
I'm a pure boxing fan so I have to give respect to his heart. Unfortunately, I think he's done. I said in an earlier post that if he didn't reinvent himself that he would be similar to Jeff Lacy. They both lack basic boxing fundamentals and if you don't have those basics when your natural talent runs out or gets taken away like tonight with a shoulder injury - you get destroyed. Without his shoulder problem he's top heavy, doesn't bend at the knees, doesn't move his head enough, doesn't have a basic punching scheme, can't change angles or side step, and he doesn't train to compensate having a heavy muscular build. Lacy and Berto ran through lesser opponents but when they faced a worthy challenge they had trouble - NO BASIC FUNDAMENTALS!!!
Regarding PEDs it depends on what you use, but I've seen a lot of football players and boxers get injured when they use a PED which is not intended for performance but intended for muscle gain and/or repair. In his case, he wanted a quick way to repair torn muscle tissue. The only problem is that it puts way too much stress on the joints and sockets which results in tears during training or competition. He'll probably need a full AC repair which is a tough surgery, it'll take time for him to be close to the same.
