He does have a point entertainment wise....HBO will not headline his next fight but Rigo can be exciting like when he walked through Teon Kennedy
Dan Rafael just dissed Rigondeaux on twitter, Rigo retweeted his comment.

Who cares about this guy? Rigondeaux was entertaining in his last three fights, especially the donaire fight.Comment

Dan Rafael is one of the few that has balls to express his opinion. Is he partial to the Top Rank camp? Rigondeaux is still Top Rank...and still boring. Either way you cut and slice it, the guy is ridiculously boring. What's so difficult to understand about that? If you leave the guy alone he will wander around the ring for all 12 rounds and claim victory.Comment

Rigo isn't the best to watch, and I even like the style he has....the thing is Dan is just saying what most everyone else is thinking/saying with no platform. People don't want to see Rigo fight. It's that simple. Just because a few die hard cuban fans on this forum like him, none of us make the world go around. It's casual fans that fund the sport...plain and simple. So regardless of how good Rigo is, the fact he doesn't have a single thing to appeal to the casual fan base, means he's not going to get showcased... send him rosetta stone and some young money cds, and perhaps he can become famous...joking sort of.... but also let's be honest...if it happened it would help sadly.Comment

What upsets me about the Rigo types is they are totally self-absorbed. Fans would boo their heads off and his response is: what do you want me to do, get my head knocked off? That's the idea guy! People pay to see you FIGHT!!! Not prance! Do something!Comment

I don't see a problem with it. Rigo doesn't sell that is just how it is. Maybe it wasnt in good taste making a joke but it was twitter who caresComment

It's not just "a few die hard Cuban fans" that like Rigo. I've seen several polls and read enough posts to determine that his support extends beyond that. If Guillermo continues to win, more people will come over to his camp. Rigo will never be as popular as some other fighters, but he apparently generated enough interest to land a date with a top fighter after only eleven pro fights. The truth is, very few fighters have the attention of the casual fan.Rigo isn't the best to watch, and I even like the style he has....the thing is Dan is just saying what most everyone else is thinking/saying with no platform. AMEN more like a few very loud **** heads hate him because they are butt hurt over how wrong they where when they talked **** about him and he is kingpin at 122 now, and it does show on the polls are always 99% favorable vs the list of negatives is always the 5 usual douche suspects on here anyways well 7 if we add Lampley and Dan.It's not just "a few die hard Cuban fans" that like Rigo. Rigo being boring sure has caused an uproar
people who like him, be happy he's the champ
he dominated Nonito to stake his claim as the boss at 122
he gets respect, which is ultimately all that matters
people might not like him, but why cry about? he still wins, it's okComment

Dan doesn't know ish about boxing. Shame he has that job over someone who would actually take pride in the job and appreciate it.Dan's tweet:
So who'd rather watch a Rigondeaux fight instead? <crickets>
— Dan Rafael (@danrafaelespn) July 28, 2013
Then Rigo retweeted him:
"@danrafaelespn: So who'd rather watch a Rigondeaux fight instead? <crickets>"@promotioncaribe @caribeboxing @LOUISFONSECA @MiamiHEAT #miami
— Guillermo Rigondeaux (@RigoElChacal305) July 28, 2013
