Manuel Charr has done better against the same opponents as Odlanier Solis

Manuel Charr has done somewhat better against Odlanier Solis' recent opponents:

    Charr TKO 2 Saglam
    Solis TKO 7 Saglam

Charr stopped Yakup Saglam earlier than Solis.

    Charr KO 1 Airich
    Solis UD Airich

Konstantine Airich was knocked out in round one by Charr, but took Solis the distance

    Vitali TKO 4 Charr
    Vitali KO 1 Solis

Charr survived until the 4th round against Vitali Klitschko, while Solis lost by KO 1.

I know about the injuries and the other details in all those fights, but I think there's a pattern here. Charr has been more impressive because he has more heart and desire to win, while Solis is lazy and poorly motivated. Anybody else notice Solis didn't appear to be the least upset about having to quit against Vitali?

Have Solis and Charr agreed to fight or something?

Charr is a harder puncher than Solis. That may account for the match lengths. While the fight lasted, Solis did better against Vitali than anyone has.

I do agree that Solis appears unmotivated.

Charr has more hunger inside the ring.

Solis has more hunger outside the ring.

        Haha, correct.

Are Charr and Solis fighting, though?

No, but Solis would be the ideal Sep 28th opponent for Charr.

            Solis stomps Charr easily.

Vitali aside, Charr's best opposition has been some of Solis' lowest. Also, the punching power theory is questionable as his KO percentage is lower than Solis' and Solis has ko's over better opposition.

Vitali legitimately beat Charr up whereas Solis' knee obviously gave out. Will you say Chris Byrd KOed Vitali?

Why when Solis wins a fight, all these fringe HW supporters come out of the woodwork with a lame "eats too much" joke?

Solis is a wasted talent. He can't afford to go in the ring with that belly. That's frustrating! The guy could really give some great challenges out there!

People are stilling riding Solis like he is the same fighter from the olympics/amateurs. Just looking at his pro career, he is just as much a bum as any fighters who werent good amateurs
