Haven't watched either. All I know is he got another UD. I don't think this guy can punch. And at age 32, he's unlikely to get better.

Arum better hurry up and milk whatever he can out of the guy.

Edit: 59-55 on all three cards

He was exciting yet extremely hittable. He was sort of like a tiny, powerless, more amateurish Cotto.

Shiming is getting a lot of buzz, but it's looking like all hype to me. It's not just the fact that Zou scored a six round UD against a 3-1 fighter; Shiming just doesn't look very impressive. And, as you point out, at 32, he's unlikely to get better.

He always starts off very well but gets dragged into a slug fest, he needs more time to get out of his amatuer style, but I don't know why... if he just boxed he would UD a lot of fighters, I don't think China cares about KO's as much as the US.

From what I've seen and heard, I don't think the Chinese market knows enough about boxing to be discriminating, tbh. And yes, Shiming should be an outfighter, it's evident he's more Calderon than Chacon. He should have gone for Virgil Hunter as a coach rather than Freddie Roach, he'd have been much better for his skillset. Then again, everyone wants Shiming to be the Chinese Manny, so it's no surprise he chose Roach.

I understand that Top Rank is selling this dude to the chinese market...That's the only reason they hype him up....but I'm sick and tired of this extremely overhyped dude. I mean outside china nobody gives a damn about a 32 year old 111 pounds chinese boxer who hasn't even fought anyone and it's only his second fight. Enough is enough.

It's his 2nd pro fight after a ******ly long time being an amateur, give the guy a break, he is trying to do his country proud, he is doing nothing wrong except attempting to be a great pro fighter.

He is hyped because his country love him. He's made no bold statements or acted wrongly to get so much critiscm... I know it's hard for NSB fans but for once stop hating and just wait for a while.
