      Please enlighten me here
It's quite simple, really. First, your'e right, there's a ****load of money for Pac and Barrera both. There has been also a ****load of talk since 2003 about Barrera simply being ill-prepared for that fight. I agree that it wasn't simply Pac's domination of Barerra we saw that night.

Regarding moving up, first consider who's waiting for him at 135.

i hope sometime this year pac/mab meet again. i have a feeling that a well trained mab will beat pac. but also pacs power could play a major role again.

Yeah I hope it happens this year. There's so much anticipation on this that people are getting really impatient.

The results? Since MAB is claiming he just have a bad night I'm looking at this at 50/50 chance for both. DAMN, that's why it has to happen. We will see the truth.

MONEY!!! it's the biggest payday for Manny right now, fighting Barrera.

also another win over Barrera would solidify his place in history as a great.

like it was said earlier in this thread, to show that the first fight wasn't a fluke.

as far as moving up, Manny would be too small if he went up to 135. he weighed in at 128 against morales, and i bet thats as far as he could go without excessive weight lifting. which is detrimental to overall speed and agility.

i honestly think that Morales is too small for 135 and he cant make 130 any more. the guys at 135 are too big, they walk around at 145-155, some of them at least. ( morales needs to fight one or two more at a catch weight in between 130-135 for him to be affective)

but Manny has a few fights that he can line up at 130 and he should, after this last weekend i can't name a fighter at 130 or 126 that can beat Manny right now!

i also think that MAB will be much more competitive against Manny the second time around. he took Manny too lightly, he probably thought that Manny was too small and that he would just use his jab against Manny all night long. boy did he think wrong.

Mab is a smart fighter and he will come up with a good game plan this time around against Manny, but Manny is improving on his boxing skills each fight, and with his power and speed it will be tough for anyone to get a win over Pac.....

Because Barrera said he would fight the winner of the Morales/Pacquiao fight.

I dont think it should be that Pac wants to fight Barrera, it should be that Barrera wants to fight PAC. But really i think its the fans that want it more than anyone else. Like Barrera, i dont think Pac should move up to 135, considering that the guys at 135 cut crazy weight. Pac and Barrera are natural featherweights/super featherweights.
